Providers and Program Stakeholders:

The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) is excited to notify you that the Kidney Disease Program’s system modernization for the provider portal will go Live on Tuesday, June 3rd. The portal will be accessed through a new website with a new look.

This website will provide instructions to register as an authorized portal user. As part of the authorized user account setup process, an email from Salesforce with the subject: KDP

User Account Has Been Approved, will be sent to providers. The email will include prompts to reset your password and complete your portal access setup.

Modernization Goals:

The new KDP operational system on the Salesforce platform aims to streamline application processing, improve the participant application tracking system, enhance reporting capabilities, ensure accurate billing and premium management, and integrate claims processing within a single cohesive system. This will lead to better service delivery for participants and providers.

The updated provider portal will allow providers the ability to verify patient eligibility and check claims status in an enhanced environment.
